5km Husky Safari

After a short driving lesson, you will drive your own sled with a team of huskies, following your guide on a snowmobile.

After the safari, the visit continues at the kennel with an educational session about Alaskan Huskies. We explain why they are considered one of the most suitable breeds for sledding, how they are trained (including for long-distance competitions), what and how much they eat, and their main characteristics and behavior. The visit ends with the Swedish fika and time with the dogs.

• Learn how to drive the sled and feel the power of the dogs
• Meet the dogs and learn about Alaskan Huskies in long distance races
• Unwind at the kennel with the typical Swedish fika

Infants under 4 years old are free of charge.

• Warm clothing such as insulated boots, a one-piece snowsuit and gloves
• Driving lesson
• Self-driving: two people per sled (one driver, one passenger) with a team of 5–6 huskies. Swap driving roles along the way
• Follow your guide who leads the way on a snowmobile
• Unwind at the kennel with the typical Swedish Fika and cuddle the dogs
